John Hopkins has written a visual and fascinating account of Elizabeth David watching Moroccan bread being made, from grain to loaf. Also, I was reading with intense interest as he describes bread making in the hot desert sand. These are excellent examples of the best writing on the web. I wish Elizabeth David had also written about that bread making afternoon she experienced. That would have been another literary treat!
