Apparently Sarah Palin is determined to be the first female hillbilly in the White House, groans Mrs. M. She's now talking about running for president in 2012.  Maybe by then she will have studied geography and learned that Africa is not a country....somewhere out there.  Not only that, she's a binge buyer of luxury clothes.  I agree with her detractors that she lost the election for McCain.  But it's his fault for choosing her.

Palin spent a whopping great $150,000 on her wardrobe and $40,000 on silk boxers, suitcases and tanning lotion for her husband.  According to Newsweek her limit was supposed to be $25,000 for three outfits, which would be about what an oligarch's wife would spend on three outfits, not what a Wal-Mart mum spends.

Palin describes criticism of her love affair with Neiman Marcus as 'unfair and sickening.'  But many of the Republican hierarchy are calling her a 'diva' and say they will see to it that the 44-year old Alaskan governor stays in the frozen tundra.  They say that after 15 minutes of global fame, she's addicted.

Early on Palin showed her ignorance of the economy and foreign affairs when she was interviewed on CBS by Kate Couric.  It was embarrassing to listen to her lack of knowledge.  Palin was furious and felt betrayed.

McCain and Palin couldn't even keep up the pretence of camaraderie.  By the end of the campaign McCain couldn't look at her.  But that won't muzzle the lipstick wearing pit-bull.  How you gonna keep them down on the farm, now that they've seen Parieee!  McCain, what have you unleashed on the USA?
