Cameron said that he's the man to fix Britain's battered economy and repair its "broken society," says Atticus. In his keynote speech at the Conservative conference, he put forward that the Tories are now "united in spirit and united in purpose." The question now, then, is do they have the answers?

Cameron's project to repackage the Conservatives over the last three years has been broadly successful – he's managed mostly to take the party's core voters with him along the way.
However, the Tory bounce has much to do with public dissatisfaction with the current goverment. People still need to know how Tory policies will differ from Labour's – and so mapping out a positive plan for Britain is now Cameron and the Conservative Party's greatest challenge.
