The other day I
complained that the Galaxy Book Awards had turned into a celebrity event with
nothing to do with literary merit, writes
Mrs. M. Now it seems it’s even worse
than I thought.

Some short-listed
authors, i.e. the model Jordan, didn’t even write her books! It’s been described like a model putting her
name on sheets or perfume. Now we have
celebrities putting their names on ghost written books and getting nominated
for literary awards. This is just
marketing and branding. And the
publishers are participating in the hoax. It’s a sad day for literature. How silly can you get!
