What We Do

As a web magazine and insider guide Mrs M's London provides high quality literature and journalism. Our intelligent and highly informed editorials feature subjects close to our hearts written with insight and humour. We write about living well in London and abroad, all areas of the arts, business and finance,  politics, other cultures, gastronomy, events, exhibitions and travel. We write about the countryside and countryside pursuits. We publish fascinating memoirs, literary reviews, interviews, biographies, and illuminating diaries. We write about "slow food" and real people doing real things. We do not blow the trumpet of celebrity and trendy fashion. Our seasonal home pages, art deco images and animated cartoons make the site entertaining to look at. Our contributors include writers and journalists from The New York Times, The New Yorker, Sports Illustrated, The Spectator, The Literary Review and The Arkansas Times.

Rants and Raves is our weekly blog about the things that thrill or drive us crazy around London and beyond. Our bloggers (Mrs M, Atticus and Clouseau the dog) continuously update their unbridled opinions about politics, finance, the economy, oligarchs, art scandals, and generally what's going on, inciting controversy and discussion. We invite witty musings and grumpy dissent.

The Royal Enclosure is our online community. The Royal Enclosure is a Facebook for the over 50s. This community allows members to make connections, benefit from exclusive offers and contribute opinions. Our members are invited to submit their own articles on any subject. They are encouraged to enter our short story competitions and have their original works published on the site.
